Most of your visitors will arrive on a phone, so that is the version I design first. The desktop layout grows out of it rather than the other way round, which is why the type is readable, the buttons are tappable and nothing feels like a shrunken brochure.
Every picture is cut to the size each screen actually needs, in the newest formats browsers support, so a visitor on the seafront with two bars of signal gets the page in about a second. Phone, tablet or desktop, it opens like it was made for that device.

Most sites launch between six and sixteen weeks after the first call. The spread is almost entirely down to content: when the words and photos arrive quickly, so does the site. The plan you agree at the start has dates on it, and they hold.
